Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery With Positive Patient Outcome In Gorakhpur

A 51-year-old female patient from Gopalganj, Bihar had been dealing with long-term stomach pain that gradually worsened over time. The discomfort affected her daily activities and reduced her overall quality of life. She tried several treatments locally but did not experience lasting relief. Seeking better healthcare, she decided to consult a reputed hospital. Through references, she came to know about Life Care Hospital Gorakhpur and visited the hospital on 28-03-2026. Her OPD registration was completed without any difficulty. She then consulted Dr. J.P. Jaiswal. Dr. Jaiswal examined the complaints of the lady and conducted thorough clinical examination. He suggested doing tests and thus, gall bladder stones were found. He told her that she needed surgery; otherwise, she would never be cured of the disease through medicines. Dr. Jaiswal told her about Ayushman Bharat scheme also. On being satisfied with the treatment, the patient consented for the surgery. Surgery was done on 01-04-2026 under Dr. Jaiswal’s supervision. Anaesthetic chart was made for monitoring the patient during the process. OT Notes: Spinal anesthesia was administered first; thereafter, the patient was positioned supine. Prepping and draping followed. Supraumbilical incision was made and pneumoperitoneum created with ports insertion. Dissection of gall bladder, ligation of cystic structures and its removal took place. Hemostasis was ensured and finally, closure was done with suturing.
